Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years general maintenance experience
- Proficiency in one or more maintenance trades such as HVAC, electrical, or refrigeration
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Availability to work full-time hours
Job Qualifications
- Two to three years of general maintenance experience preferably in a hotel environment
- Proficient in at least one of the following areas - HVAC, electrical, painting and wallpaper, refrigeration, or kitchen equipment
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods
- Capacity to lift safely up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for maintaining high-quality guest environments
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, changing work environment
- Eagerness to learn new maintenance skills and techniques
Job Duties
- Greet guests and ensure their satisfaction during their stay
- Conduct daily rounds and inspections of hotel facilities
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks in vacant guest rooms and public areas
- Maintain and repair hotel equipment according to company standards
- Use checklists and maintenance programs to manage work efficiently
- Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and resolve issues
- Collaborate with team members to uphold hotel property standards
