Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in collision painting or automotive refinishing preferred
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain quality standards
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to adhere to safety protocols
  • Physical ability to perform tasks required in a paint department environment

Job Qualifications

  • I-CAR certification preferred
  • Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer (OEM certified preferred)
  • Must be able to operate a vehicle legally
  • Genuine interest in providing an exceptional customer experience
  • Friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive team-player attitude
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
  • Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment

Job Duties

  • Works and communicates with others on vehicle repair and status
  • Performs quality refinishing while keeping on-time status in mind
  • Performing work as outlined on repair orders
  • Operating all equipment in the paint department in a safe and productive manner
  • Following safety standards for the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves, respirator while working in the paint department
  • Inspecting all work performed as a quality control (QC) measure as soon as jobs are completed
  • Mixing all chemicals according to manufacturer directions/specifications
