Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in collision painting or automotive refinishing preferred
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain quality standards
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols
- Physical ability to perform tasks required in a paint department environment
Job Qualifications
- I-CAR certification preferred
- Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer (OEM certified preferred)
- Must be able to operate a vehicle legally
- Genuine interest in providing an exceptional customer experience
- Friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive team-player attitude
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment
Job Duties
- Works and communicates with others on vehicle repair and status
- Performs quality refinishing while keeping on-time status in mind
- Performing work as outlined on repair orders
- Operating all equipment in the paint department in a safe and productive manner
- Following safety standards for the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves, respirator while working in the paint department
- Inspecting all work performed as a quality control (QC) measure as soon as jobs are completed
- Mixing all chemicals according to manufacturer directions/specifications
