Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Art, Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field OR equivalent management experience
- 2+ years of full-time management experience
- Applicable formal training in the arts
- Prior experience in a customer-focused environment such as a bar or restaurant
- Prior experience in group art teaching preferred
- Alcohol Safety/TIPS certification (training provided if needed)
- ServSafe Manager certification (training provided if needed)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent sales, customer service, supervisory, and leadership skills
- Thorough understanding of products and services
- Proficient with Google Workspace and Slack
- Vibrant artistic proficiency and personality
Job Duties
- Guarantee the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the store
- Lead and assist in painting sessions, focusing on providing clear, creative instruction and ensuring excellent execution
- Ensure all necessary preparations and tasks for special events are completed effectively and efficiently
- Actively oversee and participate in all kitchen operations, ensuring adherence to food safety and quality standards
- Drive sales by engaging in superior customer interactions, focusing on customer satisfaction
- Uphold the studio's visual standards by maintaining store appearance, cleanliness, and organization, and accurately implementing company guidelines for marketing collateral
- Regularly participate in weekly touch bases with Regional Managers to review business performance
- Conduct monthly individual meetings with team members to discuss performance and provide feedback
- Assess and record employee performance, conducting annual reviews in coordination with management and HR
- Update and maintain monthly schedules ensuring consistent staffing coverage
- Review and approve time-off requests in line with company policies
- Review and verify team members’ timecards weekly and submit for approval
- Ensure compliance with safety, alcohol service, and cash handling procedures
- Handle in-studio customer complaints promptly and professionally
- Submit inventory counts and orders for review and process weekly deliveries
- Report facility and maintenance needs promptly
- Elevate ideas for studio improvements to Regional Manager
