Job Requirements

  • reliable transportation, willing to travel up to 20% monthly
  • 2+ years of management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • agility to move quickly and safely in the studio
  • comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with music and large groups
  • prolonged sitting at a desk and computer work
  • reliable internet connection
  • quiet and professional remote work environment when needed
  • reliable technology including cell phones and computers

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Art, Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field or equivalent management experience
  • 2+ years of full-time management experience
  • applicable formal training in the arts
  • prior experience in a customer-focused environment such as a bar or restaurant
  • preferred experience in group art teaching
  • proficient in acrylic painting
  • strong communication and leadership skills
  • thorough understanding of products and services
  • tech-savvy with proficiency in Google Workspace and Slack

Job Duties

  • Guarantee the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the store
  • lead and assist in painting sessions providing clear, creative instruction
  • ensure all preparations and tasks for special events are completed
  • oversee and participate in kitchen operations ensuring food safety
  • drive sales through superior customer interactions
  • maintain store appearance, cleanliness, and organization
  • participate in weekly business performance reviews with Regional Managers
  • conduct monthly individual employee engagement sessions
  • assess and record employee performance and conduct annual reviews
  • update and maintain monthly schedules
  • review and approve time-off requests
  • review and verify weekly timecards
  • enforce compliance with alcohol service and safety procedures
  • handle customer complaints promptly and professionally
  • submit accurate inventory counts and manage orders
  • report facility and maintenance needs
  • contribute ideas for studio improvements
