Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • vibrant personality with a flair for creating an engaging atmosphere
  • punctuality and focus on customer service excellence
  • ability to work varied hours including evenings and weekends
  • part-time availability, averaging 15-25 hours per week
  • reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 20% each week
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • frequent bending, reaching, moving, and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • agility and stamina to move safely throughout studio including tight spaces and raised surfaces
  • comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with music and large groups

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of hands-on painting experience, acrylic painting preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • artistic proficiency and skill in teaching painting
  • prior experience in a customer-focused environment
  • understanding of Muse Paintbar's market, products, and services
  • tech-savvy with proficiency in necessary technology
  • prior experience in group art teaching preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant art field preferred
  • Alcohol Safety/TIPS and ServSafe Certifications provided if needed

Job Duties

  • Prepare Muse Paintbar's signature paintings according to guidelines
  • set up master painting above the stage before sessions
  • utilize provided templates to break down paintings
  • lead painting sessions with step-by-step guidance
  • engage customers throughout sessions
  • manage session time efficiently
  • prepare attendee lists and assign group seating
  • organize paint palettes
  • greet customers and provide aprons
  • direct customers to food and beverage options
  • attend to food and beverage needs at bar and tableside
  • engage with guests and provide support
  • take photos during sessions for social media
  • assist in session cleanup and studio maintenance
