Job Requirements
- Part-time availability, averaging 15-25 hours per week
- Ability to work varied hours including days, evenings and weekends
- Regular evening and weekend availability required
- Vibrant personality with flair for creating an engaging atmosphere
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 20 percent weekly
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Frequent bending, reaching, moving and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Agility and stamina to move safely in the studio including on raised surfaces
- Comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environment with music and large groups
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on painting experience, acrylic painting preferred
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant art field preferred
- Prior experience in a customer-focused environment
- Prior experience in group art teaching preferred
- Alcohol Safety/TIPS and ServSafe certifications (provided if needed)
- Strong communication skills
- Artistic proficiency with acrylics
- Ability to engage and entertain guests
- Tech-savvy and punctual
Job Duties
- Prepare Muse Paintbar's signature paintings according to guidelines
- Set up the master painting above the stage before sessions
- Lead painting sessions with engaging step-by-step guidance
- Print attendee lists and organize group seating
- Prepare paint palettes and materials for sessions
- Greet customers and provide aprons
- Direct customers to food and beverage options and assist with orders
- Engage with guests throughout the session offering support and encouragement
- Take photos for social media and promote guest interaction
- Assist with session cleanup and studio maintenance
