Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to work efficiently with other members, departments, guests, and management
  • Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective work relationships
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English
  • Ability to present self in a professional, pleasant, confident, and well-groomed manner
  • Knowledge of pertinent laws and regulations impacting cleaning such as OSHA
  • Ability to obtain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment

Job Duties

  • Clean, sanitize, and service assigned public areas such as lobby, casino, elevators, restrooms
  • Perform floor care including sweeping, mopping, sealing, waxing, polishing, shampooing carpets, vacuuming hallways and offices
  • Clean ashtrays and remove trash from designated areas
  • Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for cleaning agents
  • Service and maintain all public areas as assigned
  • Attend daily meetings at the start of each shift
  • Provide exceptional, courteous, friendly service to guests and fellow members
  • Contact the manager on duty for guest-related complaints
  • Maintain supplies in a neat orderly manner
  • Maintain full knowledge of company and departmental rules and regulations
  • Promote positive guest relations through prompt, courteous service
  • Adapt to temporary or permanent duties as needed
