Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in produce packing or sorting preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols
- Capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Willingness to wear required PPE and follow dress code
- Good hand hygiene practices
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in packing or quality control in the agricultural or produce industry preferred
- Ability to maintain a consistent work pace and attention to detail
- Knowledge of FSQA and GAP/GMP standards is an asset
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Basic communication skills for reporting issues
- Physical stamina for standing and manual tasks during shifts
Job Duties
- Full-time packing and quality control sorting of leafy vegetables and herbs
- Inspect and weigh greens, arrange leaves, and place product in clamshell containers
- Report quality or pest issues to supervisor and discard leaves as necessary
- Ensure only quality greens are packed
- Maintain a consistent pack pace per minute of 2 PPM on clamshells and 6 PPM on trays
- Prepare product for boxing and assist with loading products onto U-boats/pallets
- Follow company FSQA processes and policies
