Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • minimum 1-2 years of manufacturing experience
  • experience in the printing or related industry
  • basic computer skills with proficiency in MS Office
  • strong communication skills in English
  • leadership experience
  • ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • knowledge of packaging machinery setup and operation
  • ability to evaluate product quality
  • ability to develop and deliver training
  • ability to supervise and support team members
  • commitment to safety and company policies

Job Qualifications

  • Follow company policies related to code of conduct, confidentiality, information security, and environmental compliance
  • high school diploma or GED
  • experience in the printing or related industry
  • minimum 1-2 years manufacturing experience
  • basic computer proficiency, especially in MS Office
  • effective written and verbal communication skills
  • leadership experience
  • ability to develop and present training materials
  • ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift
  • experience with BBM, Kalfass Longford Feeder, and Wexxar Box Maker machine setup and operation
  • knowledge of book/carton packing verification and data verification on ITPS system
  • understanding of quality assessment for samples and game tickets
  • experience with packaging sample management and metrics reporting
  • ability to operate void station and bulk void station
  • understanding of working papers, client standards, and job tickets

Job Duties

  • Assess the skills and knowledge within the packaging department to determine training needs
  • ensure all packaging personnel are adequately trained for their roles
  • develop or modify packaging ISO procedures to align with job tasks
  • promote safe work practices among packaging personnel
  • develop and improve training techniques for onboarding and production quality
  • build and present training materials and presentations
  • manage onboarding and learning plans for packaging recruits
  • supervise development and provide refresher training
  • conduct training audits
  • fill in as Packaging Lead or Line Lead as needed
  • troubleshoot equipment and assist with set-up
  • maintain the Manufacturing Sample Library
  • populate and post the Packaging Scorecard daily
  • ensure clearance of 'Void Not Destroyed' lists after packaging processes
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
