Job Duties
- Work as a team member in producing a high volume of quality hard cider in a safe and efficient manner
- Learn, understand and execute packaging operations according to process instructions and or standard operation procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality to work packaging shifts scheduled by the packaging manager
- Collaborate with other Packaging Technicians, Supervisors, Managers, and production staff
- Clean and organize packaging areas and workspaces
- Maintain packaging tools, equipment, and materials by using them correctly
- Safely store finished products in designated areas and log inventory accurately
- Count and record consumed packaging materials, destroyed materials, and defective goods daily
- Complete all related paperwork with 100% accuracy
- Assist co-workers and cross-train employees in other departments and new hires
- Communicate inventory shortages or potential issues to the production team
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude aligned with company goals
- Use time efficiently and effectively every day
