Job Description
Kraft Heinz in Cedar Rapids is a leading food production facility with a rich history and a commitment to quality. Originating in the mid-1980s as Ashby Soups, the company has evolved through decades of using family-held recipes to produce high-quality soups and other food products. The Cedar Rapids plant operates as a non-union, three-shift facility staffed by approximately 200 hourly employees, both temporary and full-time, specializing in producing frozen soups, macaroni & cheese, and a variety of other products. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous packaging or production experience preferred
- ability to work third shift (10:30pm-7:00am)
- ability to lift 50 lbs above head
- strong attention to detail
- ability to follow safety protocols strictly
- physical ability to work in hot and cold environments
- effective communication skills
- capacity to work both independently and collaboratively
- commitment to food safety and quality standards

Job Duties
- Pack soup
- load cases into Wexxar
- verify bag and case print
- operate Icontech
- perform GFS tasks such as inners, taping, and stickering
- load totes into tote dumper
- complete all required documentation and IQS entries
- verify product quality including date codes, weight distribution, seal integrity, label verification, and case quality
- follow all required safe work practices such as PPE and JSA
- perform other duties as assigned
