Job Description
Kraft Heinz in Cedar Rapids is a prominent food manufacturing facility known for its dedication to producing high-quality food products, specifically frozen soups and macaroni and cheese, under some of the most recognized household brand names in the United States. The Cedar Rapids plant operates on a 3-shift basis and employs approximately 200 hourly associates, including a mix of temporary and full-time staff. This non-union facility focuses exclusively on food service, running multiple production lines including 4 bag soup lines, 1 tub line, 18 kettles, 5 filling lines, and 4 packaging lines to ensure efficient and consistent production output.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging role preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs above head
- Willingness to work 3rd shift from 10:30pm to 7:00am
- Ability to follow strict attendance policies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
- Compliance with all safety protocols
- Capable of standing for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of quality control standards
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Team-oriented mindset
- Ability to handle stress effectively

Job Duties
- Adhere to a strict attendance policy
- Pack soup
- Load cases into Wexxar machine
- Verify bag and case printing
- Operate Icontech equipment
- Perform GFS tasks including inners, taping, and stickering
- Load totes into tote dumper
- Complete all required documentation and IQS entries
- Verify product quality including date codes, weight distribution, seal integrity, and label verification
- Follow all required safety work practices such as PPE and JSA
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary
