Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in administrative or clerical roles preferred
- proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- effective communication skills
- ability to perform repetitive hand movements and physically able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 20 pounds
- valid California driver’s license
- ability to follow procedures and work under supervision
- reliable and detail-oriented
Job Qualifications
- Possesses work-related skills beyond high school education
- formal written and verbal communication skills
- computational and computer skills
- mathematical, technical, or healthcare-related knowledge acquired through trade school or certificate programs
- proficiency in Microsoft Word including tables, charts, and graphs
- ability to use Microsoft Excel for data compilation and analysis
- ability to create presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint
- effective written communication for correspondence and reports
- ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences
- valid California driver’s license
Job Duties
- Greets and welcomes PACE participants and visitors
- performs administrative functions for the FHCN PACE Center
- handles clerical duties including correspondence, typing, filing, copying, disseminating mail, handling calls, and ordering supplies
- assigns and tracks Wanderguard wristbands and monitors alarms
- supports and monitors patient flow including scrubbing appointments, assisting walk-ins, assessing patient health needs, communicating wait times, and scheduling appointments
- performs patient check-in tasks such as collecting demographics and insurance information, registering patients, scanning and indexing documents
- obtains medical record releases and processes medical record requests
- follows procedures for opening and closing the health center
- performs other assigned duties
