Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- previous experience in bookkeeping or receptionist duties
- medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations
- experience performing receptionist duties in a healthcare setting
- experience working with elderly populations
- current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certificate or obtain within two weeks of hire
- effective oral and written communication skills
- effective interpersonal skills
- effective organizational skills with attention to detail and time management
- effective analytical and problem-solving skills
- basic computer skills
- proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- proficient with electronic medical records systems

Job Duties
- Updates community phone list and maintains accurate emergency contact numbers
- receives, sorts, and forwards incoming mail and packages
- processes outgoing mail
- opens and routes accounts payable and AIR documents
- organizes, files, and maintains all business office records
- assumes responsibility for designated clerical and receptionist duties at the front desk
- receives incoming telephone calls, screens and connects to appropriate personnel
- greets and directs visitors and salespersons
- monitors building safety and initiates emergency responses
- orders, stocks, and maintains office supplies and equipment
- maintains accurate participant and personnel contact records
- ensures quality customer service to residents, families, and staff
- maintains up-to-date documentation in participants' electronic medical records
- participates in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning
- attends in-service training and staff meetings
- performs other duties as assigned
