Job Requirements

  • US citizenship
  • DoD Secret clearance with eligibility for Top Secret
  • Minimum 14 years of relevant professional experience
  • At least 5 years leading and managing exercise development at flag-level military command
  • Minimum 3 years planning USAF MAJCOM-level or equivalent exercises
  • Familiarity with operational and logistical support for exercises, deployments, and mobilizations
  • Working knowledge of USINDOPACOM/PACOM Theater Campaign Plan and PACAF Strategy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in team and lead
  • Ability to liaise with DoD and other agencies

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 14 years of relevant professional experience
  • At least 5 years of experience leading and managing exercise development at a flag-level military command
  • Minimum 3 years of planning USAF MAJCOM-level or equivalent exercises
  • Familiarity with operational and logistical support requirements for exercises, deployments, and mobilizations
  • Working knowledge of USINDOPACOM/PACOM Theater Campaign Plan and PACAF Strategy
  • Familiarity with PACAF force structure including country locations, Wings, NAFs, aircraft types
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work and lead in team environments with strong leadership and customer interface skills
  • Ability to liaise with national-level agencies, DoD, Services, Combatant Commands, and Intelligence Agencies
  • Proficiency in current Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong analytical skills and multitasking ability in high-demand environments
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Aviation background with at least 3 years of experience preferred especially in leading or supporting aviation-centric exercises

Job Duties

  • Serve as the liaison between HQ PACAF, site lead, forward-deployed teams, and program management office to ensure synchronized execution of initiatives
  • Assist Program Manager in project management activities including planning, requirements development, scheduling, risk management, and performance tracking
  • Coordinate daily with site lead and forward teams to identify operational needs, resolve issues, and maintain alignment with enterprise program strategies
  • Facilitate communication and decision-making among field operations, technical experts, and program management to ensure seamless integration of capabilities and resources
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders on program requirements, timelines, and deliverables ensuring consistent understanding across dispersed teams
  • Assist Program Manager in conducting program reviews, status updates, and cross-functional working groups to maintain transparency and drive continuous improvement
  • Identify emerging operational requirements, assess impacts, develop solutions, and adjust program plans accordingly
  • Support the site lead by coordinating logistics, technical support, and resource allocation for effective training and experimentation execution
  • Ensure program documentation, reporting, and communication reflect field conditions and stakeholder inputs
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners to enhance collaboration and support mission success
