Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a professional kitchen or food service environment preferred
  • ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and quality standards ensuring consistency and presentation
  • operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently including slicers mixers grinders and food processors
  • maintain a thorough understanding of hot and cold food preparation techniques
  • adhere to all accepted sanitation standards and health codes to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment
  • wash dishes and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area
  • utilize cut gloves when handling knives and other sharp utensils
  • manage assigned tasks effectively and meet established time schedules
  • maintain an immaculate kitchen environment through regular cleaning and adherence to hygiene protocols
  • fulfill any other duties as delegated or directed by supervisory personnel
