Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • must be at least 16 years of age at the time of hire
  • prior experience in food preparation is preferred
  • ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • must comply with all food safety and sanitation requirements
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • capability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • capacity to work in varying temperature environments
  • must be able to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 16 years of age at the time of hire
  • prior experience in food and beverage service and food preparation is preferred
  • demonstrated experience with both hot and cold food preparation
  • sound working knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and health codes
  • if 18 years old or older: proficiency in operating kitchen equipment such as slicers, mixers, grinders, and food processors
  • ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and efficiency
  • possession of a valid food handler's card as required by county regulations

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and quality standards
  • operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including slicers, mixers, grinders, and food processors
  • maintain a thorough understanding of hot and cold food preparation techniques
  • adhere to all accepted sanitation standards and health codes to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment
  • wash dishes and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area
  • utilize cut gloves when handling knives and other sharp utensils
  • manage assigned tasks effectively and meet established time schedules
  • maintain an immaculate kitchen environment through regular cleaning and adherence to hygiene protocols
  • fulfill any other duties as delegated or directed by supervisory personnel
