Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- must be at least 16 years of age at the time of hire
- prior experience in food preparation is preferred
- ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- must comply with all food safety and sanitation requirements
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- capability to lift up to 50 pounds
- capacity to work in varying temperature environments
- must be able to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age at the time of hire
- prior experience in food and beverage service and food preparation is preferred
- demonstrated experience with both hot and cold food preparation
- sound working knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and health codes
- if 18 years old or older: proficiency in operating kitchen equipment such as slicers, mixers, grinders, and food processors
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and efficiency
- possession of a valid food handler's card as required by county regulations
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including slicers, mixers, grinders, and food processors
- maintain a thorough understanding of hot and cold food preparation techniques
- adhere to all accepted sanitation standards and health codes to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment
- wash dishes and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area
- utilize cut gloves when handling knives and other sharp utensils
- manage assigned tasks effectively and meet established time schedules
- maintain an immaculate kitchen environment through regular cleaning and adherence to hygiene protocols
- fulfill any other duties as delegated or directed by supervisory personnel
