Job Requirements

  • Food handler's license and liquor server permits as required by state law or ability to obtain
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Reliable and consistent attendance
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds bending squatting crawling kneeling pushing pulling walking on uneven surfaces
  • Ability to climb stairs inside and outside in varying weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • One or more years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Hospitality or hotel work experience preferred
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to handle guest issues diplomatically
  • Knowledge of hotel front desk operations and reservation systems
  • Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism under pressure

Job Duties

  • Assist guests with arrival and departure from hotel including occasional bell or valet assistance
  • Register guests verify registration details and manage key control
  • Respond to guest inquiries special requests and concerns ensuring optimal guest satisfaction
  • Resolve customer complications and complaints by researching and determining effective solutions
  • Coordinate with housekeeping maintenance and bistro staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Ensure accurate room inventory management and maintain up-to-date availability information
  • Supervise front desk operations comply with SOPs maximize revenues and motivate team members
  • Serve as a role model for front desk agents and provide high-level customer service
  • Assist in supervision evaluation training and guidance of front desk staff
  • Review time and attendance records assist in scheduling and monitor policy compliance
  • Obtain sales leads for sales department and support other hotel functions
  • Present solutions to management for problem resolution
  • Attend staff meetings in manager's absence
  • Ensure hotel cleanliness and sanitation standards are met
  • Adhere to attendance policies maintain regular availability for scheduled shifts
  • Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity when working with clients and guests
  • Participate in driver program or other hotel duties as assigned
