Job Requirements

  • Food handler's license and liquor server permits as required by state law or ability to obtain
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Reliable and consistent attendance
  • Availability for all six weekends of the Jazz series
  • Prior event or catering experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous food and beverage experience preferred
  • Previous hospitality experience preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to handle guest concerns professionally
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Familiarity with POS systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to uphold luxury service standards

Job Duties

  • Provide exceptional service by anticipating and responding to guest needs
  • Greet guests and offer expert menu recommendations
  • Accurately take and input orders into the POS system
  • Serve food and beverages promptly with attention to presentation and temperature
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns proactively
  • Assist in maintaining service stations with necessary supplies
  • Support banquet events with setup, service, and breakdown
  • Follow sanitation and food safety standards
  • Warmly welcome guests and handle requests professionally
  • Manage guest complaints and recovery efforts
  • Communicate clearly with guests and kitchen staff
  • Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity in guest interactions
  • Collaborate with hotel staff to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Complete daily activity logs for leadership
  • Obtain sales leads for sales department
  • Adhere to attendance policies and maintain regular availability
  • Perform other hotel-related duties as assigned
