Job Requirements
- Food handler's license and liquor server permits as required by state law or ability to obtain
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable and consistent attendance
- Availability for all six weekends of the Jazz series
- Prior event or catering experience preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous food and beverage experience preferred
- Previous hospitality experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to handle guest concerns professionally
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to uphold luxury service standards
Job Duties
- Provide exceptional service by anticipating and responding to guest needs
- Greet guests and offer expert menu recommendations
- Accurately take and input orders into the POS system
- Serve food and beverages promptly with attention to presentation and temperature
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns proactively
- Assist in maintaining service stations with necessary supplies
- Support banquet events with setup, service, and breakdown
- Follow sanitation and food safety standards
- Warmly welcome guests and handle requests professionally
- Manage guest complaints and recovery efforts
- Communicate clearly with guests and kitchen staff
- Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity in guest interactions
- Collaborate with hotel staff to ensure smooth service delivery
- Complete daily activity logs for leadership
- Obtain sales leads for sales department
- Adhere to attendance policies and maintain regular availability
- Perform other hotel-related duties as assigned
