Job Requirements
- Own your own CDL-A tractor trailer or CDL-B box truck
- at least one full year of commercial driving experience
- must be an independent contractor
- pass background check
- pass driving test
- complete DOT-required drug and physical examinations
- no DUI/DWI in the past five years
- have two qualified helpers for deliveries
Job Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A or CDL-B license
- minimum one year of commercial truck driving experience
- experience as an owner-operator or independent contractor
- strong customer service skills
- ability to operate dispatch technology
- knowledge of furniture handling and assembly
- physical ability to perform loading and unloading tasks
- clean driving record with no recent DUI/DWI
- experience managing independent business operations
Job Duties
- Deliver furniture to customers and businesses in the Richmond area
- use a dispatch app to manage routes and communicate with dispatch and company representatives
- handle product assembly and setup in customers' homes
- provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- maintain communication with helpers and coordinate delivery logistics
- ensure compliance with safety and DOT regulations
- manage your own business operations as an independent contractor
