Job Requirements

  • 2-4 years bartending experience
  • 1-2 years leadership or management experience
  • expert knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits
  • experience with POS and inventory systems and basic accounting
  • valid driver's license
  • must be 21 or older
  • Food Handlers and TIPS/SIPS certification within 30 days
  • must pass DABS background check and fingerprinting
  • ability to lift 50 lbs
  • flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Support bar operations, inventory, and cost control to maintain profitability
  • participate in cocktail development, vendor meetings, and alcohol training
  • order and receive supplies
  • manage inventories and P.O.S. programming
  • ensure compliance with DABS laws, alcohol permits, and safety standards
  • monitor nightly dispensing logs and conduct quarterly alcohol audits
  • maintain floor presence
  • ensure service standards and guest satisfaction
  • hire, train, schedule, and evaluate staff
  • maintain payroll accuracy
  • work with manager on developing wine lists, price lists, and specialty drink lists
  • ensure menus, signage, and uniforms are current and professional
  • support recycling and sustainability programs
  • manage musician payments, weekly scheduling, and event postings
