Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree
- Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic knowledge of customer service principles and processes
- Ability to read, write and comprehend English
- Ability to present information effectively
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and understanding of money
- Ability to understand time systems and applicable rates
- Physical ability to perform demanding physical tasks including lifting and outdoor work
- Willingness to work overnight shifts on Friday and Saturday
- Ability to safely operate vehicles including performing parallel parking
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance to the state applying to work
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's using units of American money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
- Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
- Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
- Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms and amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area
- Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to appropriate approved places
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
- Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks from guests prior to issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey and claim check receipt
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
