Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license
One month related experience or equivalent
Knowledge of customer service principles
Basic English reading and writing skills
Ability to comprehend instructions
Effective communication skills
Basic math skills including money calculations
Familiarity with 24-hour and military time
Ability to operate manual transmission
Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree
Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work or within a commutable distance
One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
Ability to read and write standard English
Ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations including money calculations
Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers and clients
Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor
Use guest last names during interactions
Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms or amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area
Deliver messages, items or guest amenities as requested
Shuttle guests to appropriate places approved by the location
Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks from guests before issuing keys
Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey and claim check receipt
Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
