Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
  • One month related experience or training or equivalent education and experience
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend standard English
  • Ability to present information effectively to guests and colleagues
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations
  • Ability to understand time and rate systems
  • Physically able to meet job demands including lifting up to 100 pounds
  • Willingness to work night shifts and weekends
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
  • One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in small group situations
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand parking rates
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests and co-workers
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using a professional and friendly manner
  • Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously and safely
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • Provide directions, taxi, reservation assistance and information about facility amenities and local attractions
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
  • Issue and collect claim checks, maintain accurate ticket information including key tags and damage surveys
  • Calculate and collect parking revenue when applicable
