Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
- One month related experience or training or equivalent education and experience
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend standard English
- Ability to present information effectively to guests and colleagues
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations
- Ability to understand time and rate systems
- Physically able to meet job demands including lifting up to 100 pounds
- Willingness to work night shifts and weekends
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
- One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in small group situations
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand parking rates
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests and co-workers
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using a professional and friendly manner
- Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously and safely
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
- Provide directions, taxi, reservation assistance and information about facility amenities and local attractions
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
- Issue and collect claim checks, maintain accurate ticket information including key tags and damage surveys
- Calculate and collect parking revenue when applicable
