Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • One month related experience or training
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Ability to understand customer service principles
  • Capable of performing basic arithmetic
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to operate a vehicle safely
  • Ability to work overnight shifts
  • Physically able to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Able to work outdoors and withstand weather conditions
  • Willing to travel up to 5 percent

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid driver’s license for the state or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to add and subtract three-digit numbers and perform multiplication and division with tens and hundreds
  • Ability to understand and use units of American money
  • Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Greet guests within five feet using a professional and friendly approach
  • Use guest last names during interactions
  • Practice proper phone etiquette and post in designated areas when not engaged in tasks
  • Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously and slowly
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Provide information about facility outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information accurately including key tags, guest folios, vehicle location, damage surveys, and claim check receipts
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
