Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work or within a commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using American money
  • Understanding of time and rate calculations
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license for state of employment or commutable distance
  • One month related experience or training or equivalent education
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to present information effectively in small group settings
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations including money handling
  • Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicle preferred
  • Skill in performing parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests
  • Practice proper phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Provide directions, taxi, reservation and other guest assistance
  • Deliver messages, items and amenities
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • Issue claim checks and collect them prior to issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags and damage surveys
  • Calculate and collect revenue for services as needed
