Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
- One month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and write in English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to communicate effectively in small groups and one-on-one settings
- Basic arithmetic skills including handling American money
- Ability to understand time systems and applicable rates
- Capability to operate manual transmission (highly desirable)
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of work or within a commutable distance
- One month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend standard English
- Ability to effectively present information to guests, clients, and colleagues
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to understand 24-hour and military time
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
- Greet guests warmly within five feet of interaction
- Use guest last names during interactions
- Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously and safely
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Provide guests with directions, taxi assistance, reservations, and other inquiries
- Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests as approved by location
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon guest arrival
- Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys
- Collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information, including key tags, guest folios, vehicle location, damage surveys, and claim check receipts
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
