Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
  • One month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to communicate effectively in small groups and one-on-one settings
  • Basic arithmetic skills including handling American money
  • Ability to understand time systems and applicable rates
  • Capability to operate manual transmission (highly desirable)
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of work or within a commutable distance
  • One month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend standard English
  • Ability to effectively present information to guests, clients, and colleagues
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to understand 24-hour and military time
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Greet guests warmly within five feet of interaction
  • Use guest last names during interactions
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously and safely
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Provide guests with directions, taxi assistance, reservations, and other inquiries
  • Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests as approved by location
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon guest arrival
  • Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys
  • Collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information, including key tags, guest folios, vehicle location, damage surveys, and claim check receipts
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
