Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
  • one month related experience and/or training or equivalent education and experience
  • knowledge of customer service principles and processes
  • ability to read and write standard English
  • ability to comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos
  • ability to write simple correspondence
  • effective presentation skills
  • basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with money
  • understanding of 24 hour and military time
  • understanding of parking rates
  • ability to operate manual transmission preferred
  • skill in parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintains pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers and clients
  • acknowledges and greets guests within five feet using guest last names
  • uses salutation of the day and welcomes guests to the location
  • practices proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • parks and retrieves vehicles cautiously and safely
  • assists guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • opens vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
  • provides information about local attractions and facility amenities
  • delivers messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • shuttles guests to approved locations
  • explains parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • issues claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collects claim checks before issuing keys
  • completes and maintains all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
  • calculates and collects revenue when necessary
