Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license for the applicable state or nearby commutable distance
  • At least one month of related experience or training or equivalent education and experience
  • Strong communication skills including reading, writing and presenting information
  • Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with money
  • Knowledge of customer service principles
  • Ability to drive vehicles with care and caution
  • Capability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds
  • Willingness to work overnight shifts
  • Ability to operate in adverse weather conditions
  • Ability to follow established procedures and work under supervision

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Valid driver’s license for the state applied to work or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
  • Ability to perform calculations using units of American money
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • Park and retrieve vehicles slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon guest arrival
  • Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before returning keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
