Job Requirements

  • Must hold a valid driver's license for the state you are applying to work or within a commutable distance
  • Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Willingness to work overnight shifts Monday through Sunday
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions including extreme heat and cold
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and perform physical activities such as climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling and crouching
  • Ability to follow established practices and procedures
  • Ability to make decisions within specific operational instructions and departmental guidelines
  • Availability for travel up to 5 percent
  • Ability to lift and handle luggage
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English language
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s
  • Ability to perform mathematical operations using units of American money
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet and use guest last names during interactions
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles carefully and promptly while assisting guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Provide information about facility amenities and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • Issue and collect claim checks after vehicle key exchange
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information accurately including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location and damage survey
  • Calculate and collect parking revenue as needed
