Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for state of employment or commutable area
- One month related experience or equivalent education and experience
- Knowledge of customer service principles
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide basic numbers and understand American money units
- Ability to understand and apply 24-hour and military time
- Ability to understand parking rates
- Ability to operate manual transmission (preferred)
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the applicable state or within a commutable distance
- One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
- Ability to read, write and comprehend standard English
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations
- Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand applicable parking rates
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, coworkers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
- Use appropriate salutations and phone etiquette
- Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously and safely
- Assist guests with luggage and bell services
- Provide guests with directions, information about facility amenities and local attractions
- Deliver messages, items, and shuttle guests as required
- Explain parking rates and procedures clearly to guests
- Issue and collect claim checks and keys accurately
- Complete all parking ticket information including damage surveys and key tags
- Calculate and collect parking fees when necessary
