Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
- One month related experience or training
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to follow simple instructions
- Ability to perform basic math
- Physical ability to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work overnight shifts from 11pm to 7am
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to interact professionally with guests
- Ability to safely operate and park vehicles
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or commutable distance
- One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions and write correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively to guests and coworkers
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
- Understanding of applicable rates for parking time
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet distance with a friendly demeanor
- Use guest last names during interactions
- Park and retrieve vehicles carefully and safely
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage when needed
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Provide guests with information about local amenities and attractions
- Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
- Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys
- Collect claim checks before issuing vehicle keys
- Complete and maintain vehicle ticket information including damage survey
- Calculate and collect revenue for parked vehicles when required
