Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for applicable state or commutable distance
- One month related experience or training or equivalent combination
- Ability to read, write and comprehend standard English
- Able to perform relevant math calculations involving money
- Available to work night shifts from 11pm to 7am
- Must be able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying environmental conditions
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Must pass any required background or driving record checks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of work or within commutable distance
- One month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information to guests, clients and employees
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and perform operations with American money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand parking rates related to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor
- Use guest last names during interactions
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
- Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
- Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
- Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms and/or amenities and main attractions in the area
- Deliver messages, items and/or guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
- Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
