Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- valid driver’s license for applicable state or commutable area
- one month related experience or equivalent education and training
- knowledge of customer service principles
- ability to read, write and comprehend English
- basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- ability to understand time systems and applicable rates
- skill in vehicle parking including parallel parking
- ability to lift and move heavy items up to 100 pounds occasionally
- ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- willingness to work overnight shifts
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- must hold a valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work, or within a commutable distance
- one month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- ability to read and write standard English language
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- ability to write simple correspondence
- ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees
- ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s using American money
- ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- maintains pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
- acknowledges and greets guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor using guest last names
- uses salutation of the day and welcomes guests to the location
- practices proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- posts up in designated areas when not completing tasks
- parks and retrieves vehicles slowly and cautiously
- assists guests with bell services and luggage storage
- opens vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries
- provides information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions
- delivers messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
- shuttles guests to approved locations
- explains parking rates and retrieval procedures
- issues claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collects claim checks prior to issuing keys
- completes and maintains all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipt
- calculates and collects revenue when necessary
