Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver’s license
- one month experience or training related to the role or equivalent education and experience
- ability to perform basic math operations
- ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions in English
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- ability to operate a manual transmission (highly desirable)
- physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently
- willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- availability to work Monday through Friday 11 PM to 7 AM
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- must be able to meet physical demands of the job
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- must hold a valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work or within a commutable distance
- one month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- ability to read and write standard English
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- ability to write simple correspondence
- ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with tens and hundreds
- ability to perform these operations using units of American money
- ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- maintains pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
- acknowledges and greets guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor
- uses guest last names during interactions
- uses salutation of the day and welcomes guests to the location
- practices proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- assists guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
- opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
- provides guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms and amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area
- delivers messages, items and guest amenities as requested
- shuttles guests to appropriate places approved by the location
- explains parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
- issues claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collects claim checks from guests prior to issuing keys
- completes and maintains all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
- calculates and collects revenue for vehicles when needed
