Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for the state of work or nearby commutable area
- One month related experience or training, or equivalent education and experience
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English instructions and correspondence
- Ability to perform basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with money
- Physical ability to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently
- Capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Availability to stand or sit for extended periods
- Ability to perform job duties following specific directions and operational guidelines
- Willingness to travel up to 5 percent
- Able to maintain professional and friendly demeanor at all times
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work, or within a commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic using American money units
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand parking rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests promptly with professional and friendly demeanor
- Park and retrieve vehicles safely and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Provide directions, taxi assistance, reservations, and answer guest inquiries
- Deliver messages, items, and amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and vehicle retrieval procedures
- Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before key issuance
- Complete and maintain all vehicle ticketing information
- Calculate and collect parking revenue as needed
