Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license for the state of employment or commutable distance
- Minimum one month related experience or training
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively
- Basic arithmetic skills including money calculations
- Understanding of 24 hour and military time
- Ability to understand and explain parking rates
- Ability to park vehicles safely including parallel parking
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Willingness to work overnight shifts including weekends
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver's license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
- One month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition subtraction multiplication and division with money
- Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand parking rates
- Ability to operate manual transmission highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant friendly and professional demeanor with guests coworkers and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using professional friendly demeanor and guest last names
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location while practicing proper phone etiquette
- Park and retrieve vehicles slowly and cautiously, assist guests with bell services and luggage storage, open doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions taxis reservations and inquiries, provide information about outlets meeting rooms amenities and local attractions, deliver messages and shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests, issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys, collect claim checks before returning keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag guest folio vehicle location damage survey and claim receipt, calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when necessary
