Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift fifty pounds
- Ability to stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday
- Required hand use including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
- Ability to perform bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching motions
- Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- Ability to work in temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to work in wet and cold environments
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Prior retail, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred

- Basic computer skills
- Proactive problem-solver with excellent follow-through, listening skills, and ability to follow instructions and procedures
- Clear and effective communication style, both written and verbal
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with individuals in positions throughout various levels of the business

- Demonstrate responsibility and accountability in recognizing and accomplishing all tasks where there is a direct job responsibility
- Proven experience meeting all customer service expectations when interacting with customers, vendors, and fellow Team Members
- Proper use of equipment including knives, personal protective equipment, forklift, pallet jacks, hand trucks, six-wheel carts, baler (must be 18 years or older), and other equipment used during preparation and clean-up within department and store
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service and address the needs of customers in a timely and effective manner
- Be cross-trained and work in multiple areas throughout the store, including cashiering/SCO, coffee venue, facing, and stocking
- Support the auditing of store tags, signs, and scale prices to confirm tag/signage/price accuracy
- Rotate products and remove out-of-date products
- Be aware of new products and their placement
- Support the highest retail standards are being met
- Follow all Daily Shop program, goals, and all Standards Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Participate in fiscal period and quarter-end inventories
- Communicate all pertinent information to leadership
- Stay informed on all company and store-level information from leadership
- Complete all required training on time
- Maintain a positive work environment
- Use courteous and proper phone etiquette when answering phones and pages
- Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices
- Support overall store cleanliness and maintenance
- Follow established food safety, organic guidelines, and procedures
- Attend all meetings as assigned by leadership, including daily huddles
