Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior retail, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred
  • Ability to lift fifty pounds
  • Ability to stand or walk for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday
  • Physical ability to perform motions including bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
  • Ability to work in wet, cold, and varied temperature environments
  • Must be at least 18 years old to operate specific equipment
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Provide exceptional customer service and address the needs of customers in a timely and effective manner
  • Be cross-trained and work in multiple areas throughout the store, including cashiering/SCO, coffee venue, facing, and stocking
  • Support the auditing of store tags, signs, and scale prices to confirm tag/signage/price accuracy
  • Rotate products and remove out-of-date products
  • Be aware of new products and their placement
  • Support the highest retail standards are being met
  • Follow all Daily Shop programs, goals, and Standards Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Participate in fiscal period and quarter end inventories
  • Communicate all pertinent information to leadership
  • Stay informed on company and store level information from leadership
  • Complete all required training on time
  • Maintain a positive work environment
  • Use courteous and proper phone etiquette
  • Comply with all applicable health, sanitation procedures, and safe work practices
  • Support overall store cleanliness and maintenance
  • Follow established food safety, organic guidelines, and procedures
  • Attend all meetings as assigned by leadership, including daily huddles
