Job Requirements
- No prior retail experience required
- must be able to lift 50 pounds
- able to stand or walk 6-8 hours during an 8-hour shift
- capable of hand use including single grasping and fine manipulation
- able to perform bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching motions
- exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals
- able to work in varying temperatures including freezing and hot conditions
- able to work in wet and dry environments
- flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- able to use knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and heavy equipment
- may require ladder use

Job Duties
- Prepares products for display and sale including cutting fruits and vegetables, measuring and mixing raw materials per recipes, forming food items into defined shapes and sizes, labeling and dating products, baking and cooking as required
- ensures products meet quality standards
- maintains clean, sanitary merchandising, walk-ins, freezers, and preparation areas
- cleans department continually and maintains sweep logs
- arrives on time, properly groomed and dressed, works all scheduled shifts
- provides excellent customer service addressing needs promptly and uses suggestive selling techniques
- maximizes sales through proper product prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising
- follows and ensures compliance with health, safety, weights and measures regulations
- performs opening, mid, and closing duties and ensures accuracy of signs and pricing
- reports safety hazards and violations immediately
- performs other duties as assigned by leadership
