Job Requirements
- Must be a Peer Recovery Coach and/or Certified Intentional Peer Support Specialist or obtain certification within 6 months
- valid driver’s license
- reliable vehicle for client transport
- ability to remain awake and alert throughout overnight shifts
- willingness to work from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.
- ability to perform cleaning and organizational tasks
- ability to document client activities accurately
- compliance with confidentiality policies
Job Qualifications
- Peer Recovery Coach certification or Certified Intentional Peer Support Specialist credential or ability to obtain within 6 months
- experience working with individuals with substance use disorders or similar population
- knowledge of motivational interviewing techniques
- experience supporting individuals with histories of addiction, homelessness, criminal justice involvement, or exploitation
- ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Job Duties
- Participate in trainings including Motivational Interviewing to develop client engagement
- provide support and oversight to the Residential Treatment Program including hourly room checks
- perform cleaning duties such as dusting, cleaning spills, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing
- work professionally and compassionately with clients who struggle with addiction and maintain confidentiality
- document activities in client records as needed
- facilitate the morning medication pass and document client medications
- participate in supervision with the Clinical Team Lead
- accept and perform other duties as assigned
