Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One year maintenance and/or housekeeping experience preferred
- Basic technical knowledge such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and code compliance
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and repair on mechanical and electrical equipment
- Knowledge of OSHA, fire prevention, life and safety regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Good mechanical ability
Job Qualifications

- Mechanical ability to perform routine maintenance and repair on mechanical and electrical equipment
- Basic knowledge of construction principles
- General understanding of OSHA, fire prevention, life and safety regulations
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently
Job Duties
- Assist with maintaining a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents, guests and team members
- Perform routine maintenance duties including repairs on grounds, buildings, apartment homes, equipment and vehicles
- Fix wall and/or floor coverings, repair furniture and fixtures, basic plumbing, minor electrical repairs, appliance repairs, painting and refurbishing projects
- Assist in execution of preventative maintenance program
- Work on heating and air conditioning systems, domestic water systems and pumps, refrigeration systems, motors, fans, electrical systems and emergency generators
- Perform carpet and hard surface floor maintenance
- Perform deep cleaning and resident suite 'make ready' rooms as assigned
- Assist with fire safety and disaster preparedness evacuation procedures
