Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Pass criminal background check and drug screening
  • One month related experience and/or training
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend English
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to understand time and rate systems
  • Ability to operate manual transmission desired
  • Physical ability to perform duties including lifting and driving

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
  • One month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and processes
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend and follow simple instructions and correspondence
  • Effective communication skills in one-on-one and small group scenarios
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with money units
  • Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand applicable parking rates and timing
  • Manual transmission operation skills preferred
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests and co-workers
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using a professional and friendly approach
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving cautiously and safely
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage including delivery and pick up
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Provide guests with information regarding directions, taxis, reservations, local amenities and meeting rooms
  • Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations as needed
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon arrival
  • Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain accurate ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipts
  • Calculate and collect parking revenue when necessary
