Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- valid Texas Driver License
- no more than one motor vehicle violation in the last two years
- able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift
- able to communicate effectively by telephone, email, and radio
- basic computer skills
- able to reach various areas of the hotel quickly
- able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations
- must be able to work overnight, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in security or related field preferred
- basic computer knowledge

Job Duties
- Patrol hotel property to ensure the safety of guests and employees, answer house calls related to safety, security and hotel operations, initiate and follow up on investigations of crimes against property and persons, assist sick or injured guests or associates and complete all documentation, write incident and accident reports and monitor investigations to their timely conclusion, maintain accurate records including camera monitoring and shift logs, distribute visitor and vendor badges and perform frequent bag checks, escort special guests requiring privacy, maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive issues, assist in checking alarm and fire safety systems, lead guests and associates to safety in emergencies
