Job Requirements
- Ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers and management to their understanding
- ability to count
- ability to read and write legibly

- ability to communicate in a second language, preferably Spanish
- familiar with proper sanitation regulation
- knowledge of proper chemical handling
- high school education or equivalent preferred
- previous experience within the hospitality industry preferred
- high degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently
- ability to work under pressure in a demanding environment
- bright and organized, detail oriented, confident and efficient with great people skills and a can-do attitude
- able to apply common sense to carry out simple written or verbal instructions
- able to work with minimum supervision
- constant standing and walking throughout shift
- frequent lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying of 25-60 pounds
- able to bend, stoop, squat, kneel and stretch
- occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
- requires reaching with hands and arms and often stop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, hearing ability and visual acuity

Job Duties
- Clean and disinfect surfaces and areas after each guest vacates a room
- dust and polish furniture and woodwork regularly
- sweep, vacuum, and mop floors according to surface type
- organize and restock guest supplies such as soap, shampoo, and stationery
- change linens and towels ensuring cleanliness and sufficiency
- remove waste and dispose of it properly following health and safety rules and recycling regulations
- maintain cleanliness of dining utensils using industrial dishwashers and hand polishing
- clean kitchen and storage areas including appliances and restock for next shift
- assist with food storage, rotation, and preparation such as salad making and grilling
- perform other duties as requested
