Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous hospitality experience preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to work under pressure
- physical ability to perform required tasks including lifting and bending
- knowledge of sanitation and chemical handling
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- willingness to work varied hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers, and management
- ability to count accurately
- ability to read and write legibly
- ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
- ability to communicate in a second language, preferably Spanish
- familiar with proper sanitation regulations
- knowledge of proper chemical handling
- previous experience within the hospitality industry preferred
- high school education or equivalent preferred
- physical ability to perform constant standing, walking, lifting 25-60 lbs, bending, stooping, and climbing
- ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions
- high degree of self-motivation and independence
Job Duties
- clean and disinfect surfaces and areas after each guest vacancy
- dust and polish furniture and light fixtures
- sweep, vacuum, and mop floors
- organize and restock guest supplies such as soap and stationery
- change linens and towels in guest rooms
- remove and dispose of waste according to health and safety regulations
- maintain cleanliness of all dining utensils using industrial dishwashers and hand polishing
- clean and sanitize kitchen and storage areas including appliances
- assist with food storage, rotation, and preparation such as preparing salads and grilling
- perform other duties as requested
