Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience within the hospitality industry preferred
- Ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers and management
- Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
- Familiar with proper sanitation regulation
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling
- Ability to count
- Ability to read and write legibly
- Ability to communicate in a second language preferably Spanish
- Have a high degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently
- Ability to work under pressure in a demanding environment
- Bright and organized, detail oriented, confident and efficient person with great people skills and a can-do attitude
- Must be able to apply common sense to carry out simple written or verbal instructions
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision
- Physical ability to perform tasks including standing and walking constantly
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying from 25-60 lbs
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel and stretch
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
- Requires reaching with hands and arms, frequent stopping, kneeling, crouching or crawling
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, hearing ability and visual acuity
- Willingness to perform other duties as requested

Job Duties
- Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces and areas after each guest vacates a room
- Dusting and polishing furniture, woodwork, light fixtures, and ceiling fans
- Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, and shampooing carpets when necessary
- Organizing and restocking guest supplies such as soap, shampoo, lotion, coffee, tea, and stationery
- Changing soiled linens and towels with clean replacements
- Removing and disposing of waste from wastebaskets, ashtrays, and kitchen areas following health and safety regulations
- Maintaining cleanliness of dining utensils using industrial dishwashers and hand polishing
- Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas including appliances and ensuring health and safety standards
- Assisting with food storage, rotation, and preparation including salad making, grilling, garnishing, and seasoning dishes
