Job Requirements

  • Open availability including overnight shifts
  • ability to lift, move, and handle objects up to 55 pounds without assistance
  • capability to navigate stairs, ramps, and uneven surfaces
  • completion of safety training and certifications
  • commitment to maintaining professional appearance and personal hygiene
  • capacity to work full shifts standing, walking, kneeling, or sitting for extended periods
  • adherence to company policies and procedures regarding safety and privacy

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous housekeeping or cleaning experience beneficial
  • ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
  • good communication skills
  • physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks
  • ability to work overnight shifts and flexible hours
  • ability to work as part of a team and treat colleagues with respect

Job Duties

  • Respond promptly to guest requests and requests from other departments
  • identify and report preventive or maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms
  • place caution signs
  • contact other departments for urgent repairs
  • organize furniture in guest rooms as needed
  • remove items from hallways including trash, room service trays, unread newspapers, soiled linens, and refuse near housekeeping carts
  • clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment properly
