Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to respond promptly to guest and departmental requests
  • Physical ability to lift and move objects up to 55 pounds
  • Ability to push and pull housekeeping carts
  • Willingness to adhere to safety and security policies
  • Availability to work overnight shifts
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to assist individuals with disabilities

Job Duties

  • Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments
  • Identify and report preventative or maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms
  • Post caution signs as necessary
  • Contact other departments directly for urgent repairs
  • Deliver guest requests and set up furniture items in guest rooms
  • Remove debris, soiled linens, trash, and room service items from hallways to service areas
  • Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests
  • Support team goals and maintain quality standards
  • Move, lift, carry, and place objects as required
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
