Job Requirements
- At least one year housekeeping experience in a business environment
- Adequate reading and writing skills
- Ability to perform general housekeeping duties such as cleaning, mopping and emptying trash cans
- Ability to stand for long durations
- Ability to walk and bend frequently
- Willingness to work in very damp locations
- Provides on call service to the University as needed for critical and emergency events
- Ability to work in an environment using general cleaning chemicals and solutions as needed

Job Duties
- Perform general housekeeping duties such as cleaning, mopping, and emptying trash cans
- Maintain floors through stripping, refinishing, waxing, and buffing using power machines
- Clean and sanitize classrooms, kitchens, offices, corridors, stairways, and washrooms
- Clean study areas, labs, lecture halls, lounges, fitness centers, pools, game rooms, and TV lounges
- Use wet and dry mops and floor machines for floor cleaning
- Provide on-call service for critical and emergency cleaning events
- Follow safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and solutions
